Eva is a Muscle Ninja, on a mission to break your patterns of tension, stress and chronic discomfort, while creating a healing space to let go and feel cared for. Her gratitude for this work shows up in her sessions - empathetic, caring, present and curious. She honors you and holds you as her focus for the entire time you are together.
Eva's background in yoga and gymnastics set a foundation of body awareness, movement and what we are capable of. She brings this into her practice as a bodyworker, which spans over 10 years. Her investigation of the healing arts and personal awareness began over 20 years ago, motivated by the desire to heal herself. Exploring the body, mind and emotional connection, ignited a curiosity of how physical and/or emotional trauma can get physically trapped in the body causing long-term pain and/or holding patterns. Eva wholeheartedly incorporates her knowledge and personal experience into her life practice as a source of love and inspiration for herself others.

Her passion for this work shines through in each of her treatments, valuing personal connection with every one of her clients. In Lacey’s free time, you can find her exploring and discovering new knowledge to bring into her sessions, reading, hiking, snowboarding, practicing yoga, coaching, and unravelling her own movement patterns.

My passion towards becoming a bodyworker ignited one sunny afternoon while I was giving Free Hugs in downtown Vancouver. I had started the Vancouver Free Hugs movement years earlier out of a genuine desire for establishing meaningful connections with others. I soon realized how even a simple, heartfelt hug could have a deep impact on the emotional and physical well-being of myself and those receiving. This began my journey in exploring the many benefits of physical touch through massage and bodywork at Vancouver School of Healing Arts.
Through the intensive training, I acquired valuable skills in relaxation massage, deep tissue, reflexology and aromatherapy, as well as a strong foundation in human sciences.

My style of bodywork is unique and personalized with each client, but the one quality that remains consistent within all treatments is providing a very safe and comforting space where the body and soul can rest and rejuvenate, thus reaching profound relaxation and tranquility.

Shayda’s journey in bodywork and massage began with a deep desire to understand her own body, and to discover how to cultivate a healthy physical life. She had a prolonged injury for many years, had tried other therapies, but over time the same symptoms would always resurface. What she discovered through receiving bodywork and through her bodywork training was a therapy that gave her the relief she had deemed impossible, and a new-found freedom in all areas of her life. This holistic approach to understanding the body lit a fire inside of her to help others discover new levels of health and healing.

Shayda’s specialty is creating freedom in the body’s tissues through deep tissue fascial work, as well as harmonizing energy flow in the body, emotions, and mind by working with pressure points and the breath. Her aim is to go on a journey with her clients- to discover where there could be more freedom and to venture there together.

Shayda is trained in: Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Joint Release, Aromatherapy, Ayurveda, and Swedish. She is a certified Bodywork Therapist and an Advanced Shiatsu Practitioner from Vancouver School of Healing Arts.

Marlo has been doing massage for the past 7 years.  Her passion for fitness however started at a very young age.  Always active, trying every sport she now spends most of her time while she’s not working, running outside, hiking with her dog and doing very short workouts with weights.  In her 20’s she became a personal trainer and group class fitness instructor through Can Fit Pro and in her 2004 completed her level 1 yoga instructor certification. After over 18 years in corporate, she felt she needed to go with her heart, which was making people feel great and relaxed.  While still at her job, she became a chair practitioner and started doing chair massage on the side for the elderly and in corporate offices.   She loved it so much that eventually she made the switch from working in an office to helping people feel great in the office environment. In 2014, she graduated from the Vancouver School of Bodywork and massage with honours.

Marlo believes that a combination of a variety of activities (especially outside in nature), nutrition and soft tissue release through massage therapy are an integral part in feeling good in mind, body and soul.

Marlo's treatments are about an experience; extremely intuitive and focused on relaxation, she has a way of penetrating the muscles slowly yet deeply to minimize any discomfort and to allow the body to fully relax. Her background in fitness allows her to suggest stretches or exercises you may want to include at home to enhance your wellness and areas of need.

She is certified in Deep Tissue, Myofascial release, Swedish, Hot Stone, Reflexology and Deep flow which is a combination of many modalities mixed into one beautiful, tailored for you, experience.

"It is such an honour and pleasure to help people feel great, relieve tension and feel completely relaxed for the moment in this busy world.  I love this work and look forward to helping my clients in any way I can".
