Thai Yoga Massage
A physical expression of the Buddhist principle of ‘Metta’, or loving kindness, Thai Yoga Massage is seen as an effective way of applying the foundation for healing of body, mind and soul.
What is Thai Yoga Massage?
Thai Yoga Massage is a blend of assisted movement, acupressure, and massage principles to aid in the relief of painful, tight, and aching muscles while improving the feeling of overall wellness.
How does Thai Yoga Massage compare to other massage?
Thai Yoga Massage combines deep static and rhythmic pressures as the body is stretched, compressed, pulled, moved, and rocked in a variety of yoga-influenced positions that increase circulation and range of motion. Clients remain fully clothed and no lotions or oils are used in Thai Yoga Massage.
Please Note: We do not offer RMT Massage at HÄLSA so most extended health insurance will not cover massage here
Candise is a dedicated practitioner of Thai Yoga Massage, also known as the physical application of ‘loving kindness’. This ancient Indian tradition is based in yoga philosophy focusing firstly on the energetic body and then the physical. The intention of yoga massage is to work mindfully and with concentration on the major Sen lines (energy lines) and Chakras (energy centers). Candise’s application of the massage is determined by your unique requests and body constitution. Yoga massage can be both firm and gentle and can include yogic stretches with rhythmic touch. Either way, you are left with an experience deeply nourishing to the body, mind, and spirit.
Candise also uses this application of yogic philosophy and the energetic body as a yoga instructor and a raw and plant-based chef. If you are looking for another way to nourish your pranic body, you can find her ‘Pure Pearce Chocolates’ and ‘Pure Pearce Energy’ in our lounge & at the front desk.
